Dublin police say the third man wanted in last week’s murder of a gas station attendant is in police custody this morning.
A police spokesman says 22-year-old Eddie Murphy was arrested by a Columbus SWAT team late Thursday, but provided no other details.
Murphy’s arrest came hours after news broke of the arrests of two other suspects, 18-year-old Austin Cusey and 22-year-old Jeffrey Collins. Both are scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
At a Dublin news conference earlier in the day, gas station owner Adham Matar welcomed news of the first two arrests.
“You know, we’re not like a multi-million dollar business. Its like a small gas station just trying to make our living, There you go. I just want to thank the Dublin community for their support. We’ve had a lot of messages.”
All three of the men have been charged with robbery and aggravated murder.
