Former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland

Former Governor Ted Strickland has set up a new consulting firm.  Midwest Gateway Partners will specialize in Midwest business expansions and political and advocacy campaigns, and will have offices in Columbus and Washington, DC.

Some of Strickand’s team of policy and political advisers are joining the firm.

Steve Ricchetti, a Cleveland native who served as executive director of the Democratic (US) Senatorial Campaign Committee and as deputy chief of staff in the Clinton administration.

John Haseley, who served as Strickland’s Chief of Staff.

Also on the team, former Plain Dealer writer turned communications strategist and Columbus on the Record panelist, Sandy Theis.
