Chefs In The City Silent Auction

WOSU TV announces Chefs in the City Auction 2012, a culinary-themed fundraiser for children’s educational programming.

Please consider making an in-kind donation to WOSU.  We will be highlighting many of our donors and their auction items during a unique event that will feature cooking demonstrations from fabulous chefs of central Ohio as well as exclusive segments by Chef Hubert Keller, host of the PBS series, Secrets of a Chef.

There are a limited number of spots available, so please contact us immediately to be included.

If you or your business would like to donate to our auction, it’s as simple as filling out the donor form and getting the items to us.  Remember, the value of your donation ($150 minimum value per item, please) is full tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Claim the total value of your donation on your 2012 taxes as an in-kind charitable gift.  (We will mail you a receipt for your donations.)

How You Benefit

Chefs in the City is a perfect venue to reach an audience particularly interested in local foods, community support, and a great dining experience!

Your restaurant or business will be showcased alongside other culinary greats from in and around central Ohio during our Chefs in the City Silent Auction. Additionally, your business will be listed in the television broadcast credit roll as a WOSU and Chefs in the City supporter.

The value of your donation is fully tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

How You Participate

We are procuring items for our Silent Auction which runs April 15 – May 3, 2012. Additionally, some items may be used in our Spring Online Auction beginning in May.

Auction Item Ideas

Be creative and select special items that showcase your restaurant or business in unique ways like a catered dinner, a special wine-pairing menu, a private party, an in-home chef experience, room reservations, or gift certificates.

Please submit items valued at $75 or above. Items may be bundled to reach the minimum.

Donate:

Donating multiple packages of either unique items or duplicates will garner more exposure.  We can offer one package at the event and the others as part of our online culinary & travel auction that will continue for up to six weeks after the event.  Additional promotion and exposure for these will result.
